My Story

A quintessential story of an on-track finance college student realizing she doesn't want to sell her soul to the Big 4. The end.

Haha, okay that's not exactly my whole story but it's the gist of it. To be more specific, after studying finance for 3 years I realized my passions belong to a more creative industry. I started making short films since I was 10 years old through the camera of a first generation iPod and used good'ol iMovie as my editing software. Filming and editing videos became a hobby of mine that would later turn into a passion. However, it was a passion I would later conceal as I got older and my focus on majoring in something that was a sure bet in being lucrative was the goal in college. 

But my passion resurfaced and what started out as a stress-relieving hobby during my sophomore year of college became full-time career as I am now the social and content coordinator of one of the most popular skincare brands in the market - First Aid Beauty. Since then, I've grown professionally in the social media industry and have truly turned my passion into my 9-5. 

If there’s anything I’ve learned is that, as Oprah says, “Do what you love, money will follow.” And to this day I live by that exact saying.
